MLB Betting: Lincecum, Lee to Begin the World Series
Giants manager Bruce Bochy announced Monday that Tim Lincecum, the San Francisco Giants ace, will battle Cliff Lee of the Texas Rangers in Game 1 of the World Series.
With the MLB betting lines at –126, LinesMaker has Texas Rangers as the favorite against San Francisco Giants (+116) to win the Game 1 of World Series.
Bochy disclosed his plans of sending Lincecum, the two-time Cy Young Award winner, in the first game on Wednesday at AT&T Park in San Francisco. He also mentioned that right-hander Matt Cain will play in Game 2.
Ron Washington, Rangers Manager, said that left-handed ace Lee would open the World Series, while C.J. Wilson will play in Game 2, followed by and Colby Lewis in Game 3.
Regardless of an inconsistent outing in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series against Philadelphia, which they ultimately won to claim the NL pennant, Jonathan Sanchez will start the Game 3 for the Giants in Arlington, Texas.
The San Francisco skipper said that Madison Bumgarner would begin the Game 4 for the Giants.
