That silly Russian. Alex Ovechkin is now is hoping for a return to action in a week after a ligh practice. He skatedpain free yesterday and although he used his stick, he limited himself to a few light shots. Ovechkin says he was kidding on Saturday when he told Yahoo Sports: “Well, I just try to joke with you guys,” Ovechkin said. “Couple days ago I say month. Today I say day-to-day…We’ll see.” This is obviously good news for the Capitals who hope to see the Russian superstar back in game action this week.
