NBA Betting: New York Dominates Detroit
The New York Knicks registered a 124–106 win over the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, courtesy of Amare Stoudemire and Danilo Gallinari who scored 62 points collectively.
Attracting nearly 65% of the NBA betting action, the New York Knicks were the clear favorites against Detroit among LinesMaker bettors. With the NBA betting lines at –6.5, New York delighted the majority of bettors by defeating the Pistons.
Stoudemire chipped in with 10 of his of 33 points in the final stanza, as New York outscored Detroit 33–15. Gallinari scored 29 points that included 11-of-11 from the free-throw line. He also scored on a pair of 3-pointers to in the beginning of the fourth frame to spark the Knicks.
Coming off the bench, Timofey Mozgov pulled in 23 points with 14 rebounds for the Knicks, who have won just three of 10 games so far.
Ben Gordon scored 35 points to pace the Pistons, who dropped to 5–21 on the road. Tayshaun Prince and Greg Monroe added 16 and 15 points with a career-high 17 rebounds, respectively, for Detroit.
