Loui Eriks­son net­ted two goals on Sun­day to help Team Lid­strom rally over Team Staal 11–10 in the NHL All-Star Game.

Team Lid­strom took an 11–9 advan­tage as the Dal­las Stars’ Eriks­son found an empty net with 1:11 min­utes remain­ing. Eriks­son scored four points to go with two assists.

Team Staal cut the deficit to one as cap­tain Erik Staal, from the host Car­olina Hur­ri­canes, net­ted a goal in the last 33 sec­onds. How­ever, Boston goalie Tim Thomas man­aged to pre­vent  Team Staal to score any fur­ther to lead Team Lid­strom to their first all-star game win.

Los Ange­les Kings’ Anze Kopi­tar and Daniel Briere of the Philadel­phia Fly­ers each scored two goals for Team Lid­strom. Chicago Black­hawks’ Jonathan Toews added one goal with two assists in the win.

Staal and Pitts­burgh Pen­guins’ Kris Letang scored on two occa­sions for Team Staal. Chicago’s Patrick Sharp and Claude Giroux of Philadel­phia both con­tributed with a goal and an assist.
