NHL Betting: Vancouver Downs Nashville
Alexandre Burrows netted two goals in third period as the Vancouver Canucks rallied over the Nashville Predators, 3–1, Tuesday.
Attracting nearly 70% of the NHL betting action, the Vancouver Canucks were the clear favorites against Nashville among LinesMaker bettors. With the NHL lines at –102, Vancouver delighted the majority of bettors by defeating the Predators (-106).
Roberto Luongo blocked 16 shots for the Canucks, who grabbed the top seed in the Western Conference.
Pekka Rinne turned aside 29-of-31 shots for Nashville, which broke their six-game winning streak with this setback. Mike Fisher accounted for the only goal of the Predators that broke a scoreless tie in the second.
Vancouver got three goals in the third period. Burrows scored a game-tying wrist shot at 1:17, as Daniel and Henrik Sedin assisted him. Burrows added another goal at 17:31 in the third. Aaron Rome followed with an empty-netter.
