Jhonas Enroth had his first career shutout, pow­er­ing the Buf­falo Sabres to a 1–0 vic­tory over the New York Rangers on Wednesday.

Attract­ing nearly 65% of the NHL bet­ting action, the New York Rangers were the clear favorites to win against Buf­falo among Lines­Maker bet­tors. With the NHL lines at –117, New York dis­ap­pointed the major­ity of bet­tors as they lost to the Sabres (+108).

Buf­falo were play­ing with­out Ryan Miller, who was held out due to injury after tak­ing a blow from Dion, Pha­neuf, Toronto defense­man, on Tues­day. Enroth filled up for Miller, and made 23 saves in just his ninth NHL game.

Tim Con­nolly net­ted the only goal of the con­test with 5:28 into the sec­ond for the Sabres, who tied with the Rangers for sev­enth spot in the East­ern Conference.

Hen­rik Lundqvist turned aside 34 saves for New York, which had emerged vic­tors in six out of seven games.
