The Chicago Bears posted a 20–17 vic­tory over the Green Bay Pack­ers on Mon­day, cour­tesy of the 19-yard field goal by Rob­bie Gould with 4 sec­onds remaining.

Attract­ing just over 70% of the NFL bet­ting action, the Green Bay Pack­ers were the clear favorites over the Chicago Bears among Lines­Maker bet­tors. With the bet­ting line at –3, they dis­ap­pointed the major­ity of NFL bet­ting fans by los­ing to the underdogs.

The game-winning kick from Gould came after a Pack­ers turnover in the fourth, that helped Chicago to make an unbe­liev­able 3–0 start to the NFL season.

Pack­ers’ receiver James Jones grabbed a 12-yard pass by Aaron Rodgers, how­ever, the line­backer tan­dem of Lance Briggs and Brian Urlacher stripped him of the ball near the side­line. Tim Jen­nings pulled through the fum­ble at the Green Bay 46, while the ball went to the Bears fol­low­ing the Pack­ers challenge.

The Bears ran out the clock to arrange for Gould’s win­ning kick, fol­low­ing the 21-yards pass of Jay Cut­ler to tight end Greg Olsen.

Com­plet­ing 16-of-27 for 221 yards, Cut­ler scored a touch­down with an inter­cep­tion for Green Bay (2–1), while Rodgers fin­ished 34-of-45 for 316 yards.

The Pack­ers had a team-record 17 penal­ties in the game.
