Iverson May Return to 76ers

You can’t keep a good man down. He retired from the Mem­phis Griz­zlies last week, but Allen Iver­son now hav­ing talks with his for­mer team, the Philadel­phia 76ers, about a pos­si­ble return. The 76ers are look­ing at Iver­son and other free-agent can­di­dates to replace injured point guard Lou Williams, pre­dicted to be out of action for eight weeks.

Iver­son is def­i­nitely a crowd puller and the 76ers could find the answer to los­ing games and fill­ing seats by bring­ing back the10-time All-Star. Iver­son is def­i­nitely one of the best guards of his time who once aver­aged 33 points per game. He was NBA MVP in 2001 when he led the Six­ers to the NBA Finals. The Lines­Maker bet­ting line on Six­ers to win the NBA title in 2010 is still a steep 100–1 long shot.
