NHL Betting: Washington Ousts St. Louis
Semyon Varlamov permitted just one goal in the second to help the Washington Capitals rally over St. Louis Blues, 4–1, on Wednesday.
Attracting nearly 65% of the NHL betting action, the Washington Capitals were the clear favorites against St. Louis among LinesMaker bettors to win this game. With the betting lines at –123, Washington delighted the majority of bettors by downing the Blues (+114).

Varlamov made 37 saves, allowing just one goal from Alexander Steen in the middle period, for Washington that won for the fourth time in a row.
Steen’s goal curbed down St. Louis deficit to 2–1, however, Backstrom scored twice in the third period and enhanced his season total to 11 goals.
Jaroslav Halak paced St. Louis a bit by recording 22 saves. This was fourth straight loss of the Blues.
