NBA Betting Favorite Memphis Downs Oklahoma City
The Memphis Grizzlies posted a 114–101 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday, courtesy of Zach Randolph who scored 34 points to help Memphis take a 1–0 lead in semifinal series of Eastern Conference.
Attracting nearly 60% of the NBA betting action, Memphis, with NBA lines at +6.5, were the favorites against Oklahoma City among LinesMaker bettors, if not the oddmakers. The Grizzlies managed to live up to the expectations of the majority of bettors by beating the points-favorite Thunder.
Completing 12-of-22 from the floor, Randolph scored on all nine free throws and hauled down 10 rebounds for Memphis, which defeated San Antonio in the first round to take advantage in the conference semifinals.
Marc Gasol poured in 20 points and 13 boards for the Grizzlies, who had 49.4 percent shots from the field. Mike Conley contributed 15 points and seven assists in the win.
Kevin Durant chipped in 33 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for the Thunder, who will be hosting the Game 2 of semifinal series on Tuesday. Russell Westbrook pulled in 29 points, eight boards and six assists for Oklahoma City.
