Las Vegas Sports Betting

Las Vegas Sports Betting, The Red Carpet For Gamblers Las Vegas is the most popular tourist town in the United States. When notorious mobster Moe Greene imagined his dream town of Las Vegas, neither he nor any of his cronies could have conceived that Las Vegas, a city built in the middle of a desert, would be a world class tourist attraction. Las Vegas offers something for everyone and draws throngs of tourists from every continent each year. People continue to return to Las Vegas year after year as the glitz, glamour and bright lights are a tough combination...

Team Canada Goes for Hockey Gold

The NHL may be taking a break but perhaps the greatest hockey tournament is about to begin at the Vancouver Olympics. Team Canada is the favorite to win the gold medal but the high powered Russians not to mention the Americans and the Swedes are sure to make it a tough battle. Canadians will be banking on their team to prove to the rest of the world that they can score a gold at their national sport. Some might suggest the team owes it to the nation after an embarassing performance in Torino four years ago. There’s a lot of pressure on the Canadian...

Buzzer Beater Gives Miami Victory Over Georgia Tech

Miami surprised everyone, including themselves, by beating Georgia Tech 64 – 62 at the buzzer with a winning shot from James Dews on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets managed to rally from a 60–52 disadvantage in the final five minutes but then Dews made his winning 15ft footer. It was a surprise to everyone as Dews had been missing shots throughout the game, even a free throw in the final minute. Luckily he redeemed himself in the end – literally – with his first game winner since high school. The odds on the Hurricanes (17–7, 3–7 ACC)...

Blazers Lose Roy for Three More Games

Shooting guard Brandon Roy of the Portland Trail Blazers will be sitting out for their next three games and he will not be playing in the 2010 All-Star Game. Roy has been suffering from a hamstring injury since their game against Milwaukee on Jan. 13. He hasn’t played in 12 of the last 13 games, including Saturday night’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Head Coach Nate McMillian, who wants to ensure the Blazers best player makes a full recovery, made the decision.  This is Roy’s fourth season with the Blazers who have gone to 4 – 6 in Roy’s...

Party Time in New Orleans

The New Orleans Saints won their ever first Super Bowl last night at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami. The Saints stunned sports bettors, the viewers and the favored Indianapolis Colts when their 31 — 17 victory was sealed with a 74-yard interception return for a touchdown with just 3.12 minutes remaining in the game. MVP Drew Brees may be the most revered Super Bowl MVP ever, battling through a crippling shoulder injury and winning the championship for the beleaguered city of New Orleans. Brees finished with 288 yards on 32 of 39 passing. He threw two touchdowns...

Boston was leading 51–40 at half time but they were completely dominated by the Magic in the third quarter, losing their first game in four starts. It was an outstanding defensive and offensive performance in the decisive quarter that clinched the victory. Vince Carter scored a team-high 20 points and Dwight Howard had 16 and 13 rebounds for the Magic, they had a 19–0 run...
