Tim Jef­fer­son helped the Air Force Fal­cons beat UNLV 35–30 in their final reg­u­lar sea­son game on Thursday.

Attract­ing about 65% of the NCAA foot­ball bet­ting action, the Air Force Fal­cons were the clear favorites against UNLV among most Lines­Maker bet­tors. Listed at –18.5,  Air Force didn’t dis­ap­point most bet­tors by down­ing UNLV.

Jef­fer­son threw a touch­down pass and had three scor­ing runs in the win, which helped Air Force(8–4, 5–3 Moun­tain West) overcome an early 10-point deficit. Jef­fer­son com­pleted 7-of-9  for 111 yards, includ­ing a 5-yard scor­ing pass to Zack Kauth in the first. He ran 16 times for 64 yards for the Falcons

With this win, Air Force is headed to their fourth straight bowl game. Asher Clark went for 82 yards with 14 car­ries while Jonathan Warzeka rushed for 64 yards with just two car­ries.  Warzeka also had a go-ahead 54-yard touch­down run and caught two passes for 46 yards.

Omar Clay­ton fin­ished 18-of-30 passes for 224 yards, includ­ing a 36-yard touch­down strike to Phillip Payne for UNLV (2–9, 2–5).
