It’s all change and a wel­come one for the Indi­anapo­lis Colts this sea­son with the replace­ment of Tony Dungy with new head coach Jim Cald­well. It’s believed that Cald­well will form a bet­ter defense so the pres­sure is off Pey­ton Man­ning to help them win every time. Man­ning has always been able to come from behind and win all their games.

The ros­ter stays much the same as it did in 2008 and gen­er­ally odd­s­mak­ers have been con­ser­v­a­tive with their odds this sea­son. This has been caused by inter­nal pol­i­tics, the falling out of coor­di­na­tors and some strong feel­ings on the side­lines with some other the per­son­al­i­ties in the team which leads to a feel­ing that the Colts are not really gelling this season.

How­ever, they have a great line up with, NFL heroes Dal­las Clark, Bob Sanders, Dwight Freeney, Mar­vin Har­ri­son and Reg­gie Wayne. Defen­sive back Sanders can help the Colts beat any­one this sea­son if he keeps away from injury, even New Eng­land and Pittsburgh.

The Colts fin­ished the reg­u­lar sea­son on a roll last year and win­ning their last nine games. Fans will be look­ing to them for the same type of con­sis­tency this year. Their run­ning game was their weak­ness but the acqui­si­tion of run­ning back Don­ald Brown, along with Reg­gie Wayne’s con­sis­tently good per­for­mances their per­for­mance may be up to par.

Lines­Maker has them at +600 in the AFC Cham­pi­onship and +1200 to win Super Bowl 2010.
