Saints and Colts Remain Undefeated
The Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints both remain undefeated in week 13 of NFL 2009. While it was an easy win for the Colts, the Saints found themselves working a little harder but ended up victorious, 33 – 30, in overtime aided by the Washington Redskins field goal kicker.
The Colts hosted the Titans who had won five straight games until this defeat. The Titans were not living up to their name as the Colts marched down the field and scored a touchdown in less than two minutes. After a Titans field goal, to make it 7 – 3, the Colts stepped up the pace and stretched their lead to 21 – 3 on a one-yard touchdown run by Joseph Addai and then a four-yard touchdown pass from Peyton Manning to Austin Collie. The Titans tried to pull back but the undefeated Colts finished up at 27 – 17.
Only six other teams in NFL history have started 12–0. One of those teams was the 2005 Colts, they are at odds of 2–1 at LinesMaker to win Super Bowl 2010.
