Colts Defense Grounds Ravens
The Colts hosted the Ravens and soundly beat them by 17 points to easily cover the 6.5 point spread at LinesMaker. In the process they broke their playoff losing streak. The Colts rushed to a 3–0 lead in the first quarter. The Ravens tied the game late in the quarter with a field goal.
Until late in the second quarter it became a defensive battle for the Ravens. Peyton Manning sent a touchdown strike to rookie Austin Collie followed by another touchdown pass to Pro Bowl wide receiver Reggie Wayne. This took the Colts to a 17–3 lead. The Ravens running game managed only 33 yards between their star rushers Ray Rice, Le’Ron McClain and Willis McGahee. Joe Flacco of the Colts took it to a 20–3 lead with a field goal that finished off the scoring.
