Saints Blowout Cardinals

The first six minutes saw two touchdowns from Tim Hightower and the high-powered Saints offense lead by Brees. The scoring continued through the first quarter: Jeremy Shockey caught a 17-yard touchdown pass followed by an incredible 46-yard run by Reggie Bush. His run took the Saints to a 21–7 lead.
As if the red hot Saints offence was not enough, the Cardinals were not only missing key player Anquan Boldin but they also lost Antrel Rolle and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to injury during the game. In the end, New Orleans cruised to a 45–14 blowout victory.
