Sid­ney Crosby net­ted a pair of goals to help the Pitts­burgh Pen­guins rally over the Atlanta Thrash­ers, 6–3, on Tuesday.

Attract­ing around 80% of the NHL bet­ting action, the Pitts­burgh Pen­guins were the hot favorite against Atlanta among Lines­Maker bet­tors. Pitts­burgh, with –172 NHL bet­ting odds, delighted the major­ity of bet­tors by defeat­ing the Thrash­ers (+158).

Ele­vat­ing his points total to 50, Crosby recorded two goals in the first period with a pair of assists to extend his points streak to 25 games.

Craig Adams struck a short­handed goal for Pitts­burgh. Chris Kunitz, Mark Letestu and Matt Cooke also tal­lied for the Pen­guins, who have won 16 of 19 games.

Marc-Andre Fleury took the win for block­ing 31-of-34 Thrash­ers shots.

Evan­der Kane, Dustin Byfuglien and Eric Boul­ton scored one goal each for the Thrash­ers, who lost for the fourth time in a row.
