The Los Ange­les Kings ral­lied over the Min­nesota Wild 4–2 Thurs­day, cour­tesy of Drew Doughty who helped the Kings take a lead in the begin­ning of the third period.

Attract­ing nearly 60% of the NHL bet­ting action, the Los Ange­les Kings were the clear favorites against Min­nesota among Lines­Maker bet­tors. With the NHL lines at –148, Los Ange­les delighted the major­ity of bet­tors by beat­ing Min­nesota (+136).

Jonathan Bernier allowed just two goals in the sec­ond period and reg­is­tered 25 saves for the Kings, who won for the sec­ond time in a row.

The Wild took a 2–2 lead as Brent Burns scored on a power-play goal with 5 sec­onds remain­ing in the mid­dle stanza. How­ever, Doughty net­ted a goal with 4:39 into the third for Los Ange­les. Anze Kopi­tar found an empty net within the last 1:14 left to seal the win.

Niklas Back­strom registered26 saves for Min­nesota, which is still hold­ing the sec­ond spot along with Cal­gary in the North­west Division.
