Reg­is­ter­ing 4 goals and 20 assists, Poti had 42 penalty min­utes in 70 games last sea­son. Mean­while the Cap­i­tals scored the top reg­u­lar sea­son record in the NHL. More­over, Poti man­aged to use his body impres­sively to block 121 shots, sec­ond high­est in the team, while he was 26 above.

The Cap­i­tals posi­tion on the NHL bet­ting lines will be strength­ened, as they have suc­cess­fully retained a key defense­man for the com­ing sea­son. Cur­rently at Lines­Maker, the bet­ting line for the Wash­ing­ton Cap­i­tals are listed at 5 — 1 to win the 2010/2011 Stan­ley Cup.
