Saints March to Win but Fail to Cover

It wasn’t just the Colts who remained unde­feated this Sun­day, the New Orleans Saints man­aged to pull through unde­feated as well. Lines­Maker took 60% of the bet­ting action on the heav­ily favored Saints at –10, who did not cov­ered with their 26 – 23 vic­tory over the Atlanta Fla­cons. Their play remained per­fect – Drew Brees was 31 for 40 and threw for 296 yards and three touch­downs, Jonathan Vilma came up with two huge defen­sive plays.

The unfor­tu­nate Fal­cons have now lost six out of their last eight games. The fact the Fal­cons were with­out their two biggest stars, Matt Ryan and Michael Turner for the sec­ond con­sec­u­tive week cer­tainly did not help mat­ters and it is unclear when they will return.
