NFL Preseason– Green Bay Passes Indianapolis 59–24

The Green Bay Pack­ers over­pow­ered Indi­anapo­lis 59–24 Thurs­day, cour­tesy of the incred­i­ble per­for­mance by Aaron Rodgers who threw for 195 yards and three touchdowns.

Fin­ish­ing 21-of-29 throws, Rodgers has hit 41-of-53 for 470 yards with six touch­downs and no inter­cep­tions, in his three appearances.

The Pack­ers (2–1) man­aged to take a 28–17 lead at inter­mis­sion by scor­ing the last 21 points of the first half.

Passes by Rodgers accounted for two of the touch­downs, while the other came when Korey Hall fell on a fum­bled punt in the end zone. A sec­ond touch­down pass from backup quar­ter­back Matt Flynn, a 75-yard punt return by Jason Chery and a 1-yard run by Kregg Lump­kin, helped Green Bay to earn 21 fourth-quarter points.

The Green Bay receivers got the lead, as Jer­michael Fin­ley grabbed six passes for 85 yards and a touchdown.

Pey­ton Man­ning scored for the defend­ing AFC cham­pion Colts (0–3) by fin­ish­ing 15-of-26 for 214 yards and two touchdowns.

Attract­ing nearly 66% of the total bet­ting action, Green Bay (-4) were the favorites against Indi­anapo­lis among Lines­Maker bet­tors and they delighted the major­ity of bet­tors by win­ning over the defend­ing AFC champions.
