Superbowl XXXIX was played and imprinted into the memories of all football fans around the world. It was one of the best match ups to ever play in a Superbowl between the Carolina Panthers and the New England Patriots. Needless to say, the Patriots set the ground work for their dynasty with this victory. After they won it two years later, they were the first team to win three out of four Superbowls since the Cowboys did it in the early to mid nineties.
The one thing that sticks out about 2005 is the amount of Superbowl betting that went on. Superbowl betting hit an all time high and online sites paid out more than ever. Seventy percent of the ones claiming that they gambled on the 2005 Superbowl say they were victorious. Out of that seventy, twenty five percent of those bettors claim that they bet in an unconventional way, such as which team will score first. The Superbowl is one of the few events that will offer bets such as the coin toss. Some say heads while others say tails never fails. It is a lucky, fun way to win money in comparison to picking winners and underdogs but if that works for you, stick with it. Many people have been successful with these types of bets. Plus, it adds a bit of excitement for the ones who may not be interested in football but want to take part in the action.
