Campbell Injured in Niners Vs Raiders Preseason Tilt

The San Fran­cisco 49ers upset the hosts Oak­land Raiders, beat­ing them 28–24 in the exhi­bi­tion clash on Sat­ur­day. The Raiders were more con­cerned by the injury of quar­ter­back Jason Camp­bell, who carted off the field. With just few weeks left for the NFL sea­son, the injury to quar­ter­back Jason can be dev­as­tat­ing for the team.  This has also upset the NFL bet­ting fans, espe­cially those back­ing the Raiders.

Camp­bell made an impres­sive begin­ning of the game by acquir­ing 4 passes against the Nin­ers. He was seen writhing with pain on the ground after one of the sacks, injur­ing him­self unex­pect­edly. Accord­ing to the team­mates, Camp­bell got a ‘stinger’, as they call it. Bruce Grad­kowski played in place of Camp­bell, mak­ing his first appear­ance in the pre­sea­son for Oakland.

Although, Camp­bell have report­edly said that he is much bet­ter now, and his coach expects him to be present in the opener on Sep­tem­ber 12 as his injury is not quite seri­ous as of now.
