Heat Set Out for First Camp with LeBron

The Miami Heat is ready to embark on their first train­ing camp with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and the rest of the team. The Heat is tak­ing their train­ing camp on the road to Eglin Air Force Base in Pan­han­dle, Florida.

The announce­ment regard­ing train­ing camp was announced on Wednes­day. The Heat is sched­uled to train for six days, from Sept. 28 to Oct. 3, at the mil­i­tary instal­la­tion in Fort Wal­ton Beach. Usu­ally, Miami con­ducts their train­ing camp at its home field only.

The team is “extremely hum­bled to train in an envi­ron­ment where ser­vice, sac­ri­fice and dis­ci­pline are the norm.” said Heat pres­i­dent Pat Riley.

Listed at +160, the Miami Heat is the hot favorite at Lines­Maker to win the 2010/2011 NBA Championship.
