Now that Texas is out of the way, it’s just a three-race con­test among four-time defend­ing cham­pion Jim­mie John­son, Denny Ham­lin and Kevin Har­vick in The Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship.

Ham­lin is lead­ing with 6,325 points in the points stand­ings, while John­son (6,292) is trail­ing by 33 points. The third posi­tion is cap­tured by Har­vick (6,266), fol­lowed by Carl Edwards (6,008) and Matt Kenseth (6,000).

From a NASCAR bet­ting per­spec­tive, listed at –200, Denny Ham­lin is the cur­rent favorite at Lines­Maker to win the NASCAR Sprint Cup, fol­lowed by Jim­mie John­son  with +150 odds and Kevin Har­vick  at +600.

Jeff Gor­don (5,994), Kyle Busch (5,986), Tony Stew­art (5,962), Greg Bif­fle (5,953), Clint Bowyer (5,928), Kurt Busch (5,890) and Jeff Bur­ton (5,852) are among the top-12 Chase contenders.
