Tiger Is Not Out of the Woods

The world’s Press is hav­ing a field day as they spec­u­late over the cir­cum­stances sur­round­ing the car crash at the home of 33 year-old, pro-golfer, Tiger Woods. The only safe bet­ting is that the inci­dent is Tiger’s worst drive ever.

What appeared to be a sim­ple car acci­dent is now becom­ing a media cir­cus as spec­u­la­tion mounts as to whether Woods’ was injured in the acci­dent or in a domes­tic dispute.

Rumor has it that Woods’ alleged affair with 34-year-old event plan­ner Rachel Uchi­tel, caused him to back into a neigh­bors tree and a fire hydrant whilst back­ing out of his drive way at 2.25 a.m. News­pa­pers report his wife, Elin Norde­gren, hit him with the golf club, which she pur­ports to have used to free him from the car, caused Woods’ injuries and he was mak­ing a swift get-away.

The police are now seek­ing a search war­rant to pur­sue their inves­ti­ga­tions. They believe Woods ‘ and Norde­gren been too vague about the infor­ma­tion they have offered up regard­ing the incident.

The World’s No. 1 ranked golfer will not be attend­ing Chevron World Chal­lenge set to take place on Dec. 1–6 at Sher­wood Coun­try Club due to his injuries. “I am extremely dis­ap­pointed that I will not be at my tour­na­ment this week,” Woods said in a writ­ten state­ment on TigerWoods.com. “I am cer­tain it will be an out­stand­ing event and I’m very sorry that I can’t be there.”

On his Web site, Woods said he will not com­pete again until next year. If his sched­ule for 2010 stays the same this year his first U.S. tour­na­ment will be the PGA Tour’s Tor­rey Pines event in San Diego on Jan. 28. It is unclear at this point how the sit­u­a­tion will affect any of the PGA golf bet­ting odds at Linesmaker.com
