Eight Colts Are Questionable for Monday Night

As the Colts pre­pare to return to Tampa for the first time since an epic Mon­day night game eight years ago, eight mem­bers of the team are listed as questionable.

Per­haps the biggest sur­prise is that quar­ter­back Kerry Collins, who appar­ently has a con­cus­sion, hasn’t been ruled out for the game.  He’s offi­cially listed as ques­tion­able with a head injury.  The team has not specif­i­cally said that Collins suf­fered a con­cus­sion last Sun­day night, but coach Jim Cald­well has sug­gested that Collins is suf­fer­ing concussion-like symptoms.

The Colts already have said that Cur­tis Painter will be the start­ing quarterback.

Also ques­tion­able is defen­sive end Dwight Freeney (ankle), defen­sive back Antoine Bethea (ankle), tackle Ryan Diem (ankle), tight end Brody Eldridge (knee), defen­sive tackle Fili Moala (ankle), offen­sive line­man Joe Reitz (ankle), and line­backer Ernie Sims (knee).
