NBA Betting Favorite Phoenix Tops Minnesota
Aaron Brooks poured in 19 points off the bench to lead the Phoenix Suns to a 108–98 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
Drawing nearly 75% of the NBA betting action, the Phoenix Suns were the favorites against Minnesota to win among LinesMaker bettors. With the NBA lines at –4.5, Phoenix rejoiced the majority of bettors as they defeated the Timberwolves.
Marcin Gortat scored 20 points and hauled down 16 rebounds for the Suns, who won their second out of eight outings.
Coming off the bench, Hakim Walker and Vince Carter pulled in 17 and 12 points, apiece, for the Suns. Josh Childress scored 10 points off the bench for Phoenix, which got 58 points from their reserve players.
Michael Beasley chipped in points for the Timberwolves, who lost their 12th consecutive game and entered a tie with Cleveland for the fewest victories (17 wins).
