With almost 70% of the NHL bet­ting action on their side, the Wash­ing­ton Cap­i­tals were the clear favorites against Colum­bus among Lines­Maker bet­tors. Listed at –209 on NHL lines, Wash­ing­ton delighted the major­ity of bet­tors by defeat­ing the Blue Jack­ets (+191).

John Carl­son, Mike Knu­ble and Jason Arnott tal­lied for the Cap­i­tals, who became the third NHL team to col­lect 100 points this sea­son with four games left in the reg­u­lar season.

Steve Mason turned aside 29-of-33 shots for Colum­bus, which is out of play­off battle.
