The Chicago Black­hawks rolled past the Edmon­ton Oil­ers 4–1 Wednes­day, as Corey Craw­ford had a shutout into the third and reg­is­tered 23 saves.

Attract­ing almost 80% of the NHL bet­ting action, the Chicago Black­hawks were the clear favorites against Edmon­ton among Lines­Maker bet­tors. Hav­ing –168 NHL odds, Chicago delighted the major­ity of bet­tors by defeat­ing the Oil­ers (+155).

Patrick Kane scored two times in the third period for Chicago, which had lost four out of five games ear­lier. Patrick Sharp and Bryan Bick­ell scored in the first and sec­ond period, respec­tively, for the Black­hawks, who col­lected 60 points in the season.

Kane net­ted a power-play goal with 4:15 into the third to help Chicago take a 3–0 lead.  Jor­dan Eberle com­pleted the shutout bid of Craw­ford with 3:40 left. Kane found an empty net with 43 sec­onds remain­ing in the game.

Devan Dub­nyk allowed three goals on 25 shots for Edmon­ton, which have lost 10 of their 12 games played so far.
