One team that will gain tremen­dously from Philadelphia’s loss is Wash­ing­ton, as they have acquired quar­ter­back Dono­van McN­abb in the off­sea­son. How­ever, quar­ter­back Jason Camp­bell has moved out of the team.

Head coach Mike Shana­han, who is back in action after his one years’ break after being dis­missed from Den­ver, will be guid­ing the Red­skins squad. And with this, the squad will see some changes in the defen­sive scheme, as Shana­han favors a 3–4 style of play over a 4–3 one. Appar­ently DT Albert Haynesworth is not tak­ing the new defen­sive schemat­ics too well, as he and the team are in a huge spat over it.

Although the Red­skins can’t be any worse than they were last year, they are cer­tainly not a strong team.  For this rea­son, the Wash­ing­ton Red­skins are listed at +4000 at Lines­Maker to suc­ceed in the 2011 Super Bowl. How­ever, for those who are look­ing for­ward to some fun in the games, this team is a must watch. Cur­rently, the Red­skins are 3.5 point dog to the Cow­boys in the NFL week 1 lines, while the game’s total is sit­ting at 42.
