NFL Betting: Vikings Acquire Randy Moss
The New England Patriots have traded wide receiver Randy Moss to the Minnesota Vikings. In return, the Patriots got a draft choice.
Moss started his NFL career in 1998 with the Vikings and played for seven years with them before joining the Oakland Raiders, where he stayed for two years. Moss has been with New England since 2008.
The 33 year old is a seven-time Pro Bowl pick, including last season where he grabbed 83 passes for 1,264 yards and 13 touchdowns. Catching four passes, Moss completed 3 touchdowns without any receptions in Monday’s win this season at Miami. He has registered 935 receptions for 14,604 yards with 151 touchdowns.
He holds the second highest career touchdown total in NFL history, trailing behind the 197 caught by Jerry Rice. During his first year in New England, he completed 23 touchdown receptions in 2007, setting a league record.
His presence in the Vikings will definitely improve their NFL betting odds. At LinesMaker, the Minnesota Vikings have 15 to 1 odds to win 2011 Super Bowl.
