Buffalo Bills Betting Preview
When the Bills got a chance to acquire a new franchise quarterback in the first round of the NFL Draft, they chose to seize a real playmaker in the form of running back CJ Spiller from Clemson, instead of selecting either quarterback Colt McCoy or quarterback Jimmy Clausen. The question is, whether their pick was right or not. One thing is for sure, Spiller will prove to be of great help in the 30+ yard play category. Sadly though, he doesn’t throw the football.
One extremely dubious hire in the offseason was of Head Coach Chan Gailey. He sure has his work cut out for him, particularly in trying to understand what needs to be done with his starting signal caller. Quarterback Trent Edwards has already established that he lacks the skills, but the concern is that neither Brian Brohm nor Ryan Fitzpatrick plays outstandingly. It might be an extremely long season at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
The Buffalo Bills have 100 to 1 odds to win the 2011 Super Bowl. LinesMaker has the Bills as 3 point dogs to the Dolphins in the NFL week 1 lines.
