NBA Betting: T-Wolves Defeat Lakers
The Minnesota Timberwolves rallied to a surprising 111–92 win over the NBA betting favorite Los Angeles Lakers, as Kobe Bryant and his teammates were only at half-strength.
From a bettor’s point of view, LinesMaker has the Los Angeles Lakers at 5 to 2 odds to win the 2010-11 NBA Championship while the Minnesota T-Wolves are lagging way behind with 200/1 on betting lines.
Kobe Bryant seemed to be struggling with his injured knee, as he had just two assists, a steal and a rebound in six minutes. Bryant underwent surgery on his right knee in July, his third in seven years.
He also had fluid removed from the knee to ease the pain during the off season. This worked well for Bryant, as he went on to help the Lakers claim another title.
Kobe reportedly said,” During the NBA Finals, it was extremely, extremely, extremely painful. Now, not so much. I’d probably say I’m probably about 60 percent.”
Even though Bryant’s performance was not spectacular, seeing him play was more than enough for the crowd.
