NBA Betting: Suns Rally over Warriors
The Phoenix Suns thrashed the Golden State Warriors 92–87 in a preseason game on Tuesday night. Steve Nash and Robin Lopez scored 16 points and 14 points with 10 rebounds apiece, to help the Suns overcome the 29 points scored by Monta Ellis.
With this win, Phoenix managed to snap a three-game exhibition losing streak. Though they will surely have their first losing preseason since 2003. The Suns nearly dribbled away a 12-point lead in the fourth period, when Warriors Brandan Wright scored 10 points to rally Golden State to 87–85. Golden State failed to take advantage of the opportunity to tie the score, as Ellis missed a drive in the last 23 seconds.
The Suns managed to keep control with four free throws by Channing Frye. Wright contributed with 14 points for the Warriors (3–3).
