Shan­non Brown scored 21 points while com­ing off the bench for the Lak­ers, who snapped their two-game los­ing streak with this win and improved to 9–2 for the season.

Brown com­pleted 7-of-9 from the field, includ­ing 4-of-5 from 3-point range. Paul Gasol chipped in 18 points, while Lamar Odom added another 13.

Bran­don Jen­nings paced Mil­wau­kee with 31 points. Drew Gooden con­tributed 22 points and 13 rebounds for the Bucks, who emerged as vic­tors in their last three games.

Ral­ly­ing from a 64–57 deficit in the sec­ond half, the Lak­ers scored with a 13–4 run and took a 70–68 lead. The Bucks man­aged to regain con­trol of the game for a brief period, before the Lak­ers took a 10-point lead.

Mil­wau­kee cut down the dif­fer­ence to 104–97 in the mid­dle of the fourth quar­ter, but failed to outscore the Lakers.
