The North Car­olina State Wolf­pack rolled past No. 21 West Vir­ginia 23–7 on Tues­day, cour­tesy of Rus­sell Wil­son who hit Mustafa Greene with a touch­down pass in the first period.

Attract­ing nearly 60% of the NCAA foot­ball bet­ting action, the West Vir­ginia Moun­taineers were the clear favorites against North Car­olina State among Lines­Maker bet­tors. With the col­lege foot­ball bet­ting lines at –3, West Vir­ginia dis­ap­pointed the major­ity of bet­tors by los­ing to the Wolfpack.

Wil­son com­pleted on 28-of-45 passes for 275 yards for the Wolf­pack (9–4). Wil­son con­nected with Green on a 16-yard score and hooked up with Jarvis Williams on a 7-yard score in the fourth frame.

West Vir­ginia turned the ball over twice in the fourth quar­ter, enabling N.C. State to take advan­tage of their sloppy play.

Geno Smith racked up 196 yards to pace the Moun­taineers, while scor­ing on a 32-yard touch­down pass to Sted­man Bai­ley in the sec­ond quar­ter. West Virginia’s Noel Devine fum­bled on a 28-yard run early in the fourth quarter.
