NCAA Basketball Betting: Kansas State Downs Point Favorite Texas
Jacob Pullen poured in 20 points despite a wrist injury to rally the Kansas State Wildcats over the No. 8 Texas Longhorns, 7–70 on Monday.
Drawing around 65% of the NCAA basketball betting action, the Kansas State Wildcats, with college basketball lines at +8.5, were the favorites against Texas among LinesMaker bettors, if not the oddmakers. Kansas State delighted the majority of bettors by defeating the point favorite Longhorns.
Pullen played with his left hand on some drives later on after injuring his right wrist with 5:55 remaining. He scored 16 of his points in the second half for Texas (21–9, 9–6 Big 12), which strengthened their NCAA tournament bid. Rodney McGruder chipped in with 22 points for the Wildcats, who won their fifth game in a row.
Tristan Thompson scored 26 points and hauled down 10 rebounds for Texas (24–6, 12–3). Jordan Hamilton added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Longhorns, who lost second straight contest.
