The Yan­kees, who defeated last year’s World Series title hold­ers the Philadel­phia Phillies, are odds on favorites to win the 2010 Worlds Series at +300 odds fol­lowed at +700 by their Amer­i­can League East rivals the Boston Red Sox. The 2008 World Series champs, Philadel­phia, are show­ing at +1000 odds to win their sec­ond Worlds Series in three years. The Los Ange­les Angels, St. Louis Car­di­nals and the Los Ange­les Dodgers are close behind them at +1200 odds.

Teams that may be worth a wager and all show­ing in the bet­ting lines at +2000 to win the 2010 World Series are Atlanta Braves, Col­orado Rock­ies and Chicago White Sox fol­lowed by the Texas Rangers , Oak­land Ath­let­ics, Florida Mar­lins, Ari­zona Dia­mond­backs, San Fran­cisco Giants, Detroit Tigers and the Min­nesota Twins all at +3000.

There a few teams not expected to make it in the run­ning for the 2010 World Series title includ­ing the Seat­tle Mariners, Kansas City Roy­als, Hous­ton Astros, Pitts­burgh Pirates, San Diego Padres and the Wash­ing­ton Nation­als all with odds of +10000.
