It was cer­tainly a gam­ble on the part of our fore­fa­thers who were as much an under­dog in this Rev­o­lu­tion­ary War as Buster Dou­glas was to Mike Tyson when he upset Tyson for the title of Heavy­weight Cham­pion of the World back in 1990. So, even in the infancy days of the United States of Amer­ica, our pre­de­ces­sors took a gam­ble on fight­ing for the rights of our coun­try, and it turned out damned well!
