LONDON — Wim­ble­don will be shown on the BBC in Britain through 2017after the All Eng­land Club signed a three-year exten­sion to its deal with thebroad­caster. The BBC has broad­cast action from the famous ten­nis tour­na­ment on radio andtele­vi­sion since 1927. Wim­ble­don is one of British sport’s “crown jew­els”- a select group ofevents that must be avail­able live on free-to-air television. NFLPA Attempts to Explain August 4 Letter Agreement

For a pair of enti­ties that recently found long-term labor peace, the NFL and the NFLPA remain at war on a cou­ple of fronts. Also lin­ger­ing is a dis­pute between the two par­ties regard­ing the mean­ing of an August 4 let­ter agree­ment regard­ing the appli­ca­tion of the per­sonal con­duct pol­icy dur­ing the lock­out. Tolbert Doubtful for Chargers’ Monday Matchup With Chiefs
