Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis was listed as questionable for the team’s Week 11 game against the Bengals with a foot injury suffered in a Week 10 loss to the Seahawks.
On Sunday morning, Lewis told former University of Miami teammate Warren Sapp that Lewis wouldn’t play. And Lewis didn’t play.
Now, with the Ravens preparing to to host the first ever Har-Bowl, Lewis once again is officially questionable to play.
And so we’ll have to wait for Warren to break the news, again.
Also questionable are running back Anthony Allen (thigh), cornerback Chris Carr (back) and linebacker Daniel Ellerbe (thigh). Defensive tackle Arthur Jones (head) is doubtful, and safety Haruki Nakamura (thigh) is probable.
The best news for the Ravens is that receiver Lee Evans has exited the injury list, meaning that he’s healthy and ready to roll. With rookie and reigning AFC offensive player of the week Torrey Smith emerging as the team’s deep threat, however, Evans’ opportunities may be limited.
But with two fleet-footed wideouts, the Ravens may finally be able to stretch the field.
He has a knifing pain in his heel.
Well it’s official – the officials totally blew the interpretation of the Calvin Johnson rule. “NFL Turning Point” showed how the same thing was ALLOWED by Victor Cruz of the Giants – but for some reason, they chose not to let Cincy have the same thing. Gresham, by the way, was in possession when he crossed the goal line – what a total botch job by the refs.
Your typical Ravens fan of course will now lecture the Bengals fan to “stay classy and not whine about the calls.” This of course coming from the same Ravens fans who have whined about the Steelers supposedly getting calls all the time. Interesting to see how they act when the tables are turned, and the calls go their way. Tsk tsk.
If only Five Guys Tandon Doss were there to break up Ray Lewis, lol.
The man he killed has, again, been ruled out.
G.O.A.T.
Haters gonna hate.
Hey ampat, see every NFL fan everywhere…fans are fickle in every sport at every level. It’s called a matter of perspective, it’s time you got one.
Again, play should have never happened as the officials missed a catch and fumble at the Ravens 35 that would have given the ball back. I’ll count it as all square.
Dont risk further injury. If hes not ready, sit him.
