Pitts­burgh posted a 27–3 vic­tory over Car­olina on Thurs­day, as Ben Roeth­lis­berger threw for 320 yards and scored on a touchdown.

Draw­ing more than 70% of the NFL bet­ting action,  Pitts­burgh was the clear favorite against  Car­olina among Lines­Maker bet­tors to win this cam­paign. With the NFL bet­ting lines at –14, Pitts­burgh  delighted the major­ity of bet­tors by defeat­ing Carolina.

The Steel­ers lim­ited the Pan­thers to just 119 yards, with a shut out through three peri­ods. The Steel­ers clinched a 10–0 lead early in the sec­ond quar­ter, as Roeth­lis­berger threw a 43-yard touch­down pass to Mike Wal­lace. Quar­ter­back Roeth­lis­berger ran for a 1-yard touch­down in the third.

With this win, Pitts­burgh improved to 11–4.  On the other hand, Car­olina dropped to 2–13, their worst record in the NFL this season.
