Cowboys Owner Jones Says QB Romo Will Be Ready to Go Sunday

Dal­las Cow­boys owner Jerry Jones said injured quar­ter­back Tony Romo will be ready to go for Sunday’s show­down against the New York Giants.

“Romo is where we had dreamed that he would be and hoped he would be rel­a­tive to after his injury last week,” Jones told KRLD-FM, via The Dal­las Morn­ing News, on Friday

“He’s going to be play­ing at full strength,” Jones added. “He has a very good team around him, so the stage is set to play well in a big game.”

Romo has been prac­tic­ing with his throw­ing hand wrapped in tape this week after bruis­ing it in the first quar­ter of last Saturday’s loss to the Philadel­phia Eagles.

Romo has remained adamant through­out the week that he’ll be under cen­ter against the Giants on Sun­day in a game that dou­bles as NFC East title bout.
