NBA Betting: Orlando Topples New Jersey
The Orlando Magic posted a 104–88 victory over the New Jersey Nets on Monday, as Hedo Turkoglu and Dwight Howard chipped in 20 and 19 points apiece.
Drawing around 75% of the NBA betting action, the Orlando Magic were the clear favorites against New Jersey among LinesMaker bettors to win this game. With the NBA betting lines at –6, Orlando delighted the majority of bettors by defeating the Nets.
Turkoglu registered seven rebounds with five assists in the win. While, Howard grabbed 14 rebounds and prevented six shots for Orlando, recording their third straight win.
The Magic grabbed a 58–57 lead on a long 3-pointer from Turkoglu in the third period. Jason Richardson responded with a Sasha Vujacic trey and registered another basket before the end of the third quarter, to increase Orlando’s lead to 70–62.
Coming off the bench, J.J. Redick scored 15 points for the Magic. Richardson added another 14 points in the win.
Devin Harris paced New Jersey by scoring 24 points. Brook Lopez contributed with 20 points.
