NBA Betting Favorite Denver Beats Washington
Carmelo Anthony poured in 23 points to rally the Denver Nuggets over the Washington Wizards, 120–109, on Tuesday for their sixth road win of the season.
Drawing around 75% of the NBA betting action, the Denver Nuggets were the clear favorites against Washington among LinesMaker bettors. With the NBA lines at –4.5, Denver lived up to the expectations of the majority of bettors as it rallied over the Wizards.
Nene and Al Harrington both scored 21 points in the win. Arron Afflalo added 18 points for Denver, which improved to 6–13 while playing away from home.
Ty Lawson netted 17m while Chauncey Billups scored another 15 for the Nuggets. Billups chipped in with 12 points in the first quarter for Denver.
Nick Young and Andray Blatche scored 26 and 25 points with nine rebounds apiece for Washington.
