Los Angeles Beats NBA Betting Favorite Dallas
The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Dallas Mavericks 110–82 Thursday, as Kobe Bryant pulled in 28 points while Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom had double-doubles.
Drawing nearly 60% of the NBA betting action, the Dallas Mavericks, with NBA lines at +6.5, were the favorites against Los Angeles among LinesMaker bettors, if not the oddmakers. However, Dallas failed to live up to the expectations of the majority of bettors.
Bynum scored 18 points and hauled down 13 rebounds for the Lakers, who won their eighth game in a row. Odom chipped in with 16 points to go with 11 rebounds for Los Angeles, which came within 2 1/2 games of first-place San Antonio in Western Conference.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 27 points to pace Dallas, which lost first out of six contests and is 1 1/2 game behind second-seeded Los Angeles in the West.
Lakers’ Steve Blake, Matt Barnes and Shannon Brown were ejected in the game. Brandon Haywood and Jason Terry were ejected for the Mavericks.
