Iverson May Return to 76ers
You can’t keep a good man down. He retired from the Memphis Grizzlies last week, but Allen Iverson now having talks with his former team, the Philadelphia 76ers, about a possible return. The 76ers are looking at Iverson and other free-agent candidates to replace injured point guard Lou Williams, predicted to be out of action for eight weeks.
Iverson is definitely a crowd puller and the 76ers could find the answer to losing games and filling seats by bringing back the10-time All-Star. Iverson is definitely one of the best guards of his time who once averaged 33 points per game. He was NBA MVP in 2001 when he led the Sixers to the NBA Finals. The LinesMaker betting line on Sixers to win the NBA title in 2010 is still a steep 100–1 long shot.
