Is Five-Time on His Way to Six-Time?
Things are looking up for Jimmie Johnson. After a slow start to the Chase that found him tenth in points just three races ago Johnson is now in third place, four points behind leader Carl Edwards.
This Saturday night’s 2011 Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway brings Jimmie back to a track where he is tied for the most all-time wins with NASCAR legends Darrell Waltrip and Bobby Allison. With momentum from last weekend’s Kansas win on his side Jimmie Johnson may have to change his nickname from “Five-Time” to “Six-Time.”
