Sebastian Vettel continued his domination of the season, winning his ninth race of the year at the Singapore Grand Prix and coming into within 1 point of winning his second world title in a row.
There were four other drivers who challenged him before the race on Sunday, now there is only Jenson Button. Button, the McLaren Mercedes driver, finished the race in second and lies 24 points behind Vettel with five races left. Mark Webber, Vettel’s teammate, is now out of the running, although he finished the race in third place.
Aside from the title race, there was not much action in Singapore, in one of the season’s rare unexciting races.
